With more than 300m2 of indoor space, an industrial look, a high ceiling and over 100m2 of outdoor space, Tapijn can accommodate up to 400 people. Parking is available nearby and coaches and wedding cars can stop at the door. With a 9-metre long bar and a professional cooperation with a caterer, your guests will be well taken care of.

Tapijn is pre-eminently a unique venue to meet up with a group. Whatever event you have in mind, don't hesitate to ask us. Want to get married, have drinks, celebrate your birthday or someone else's? Tapijn is located in Maastricht's former military barracks: the Tapijnkazerne. Tapijn is located in the middle of Maastricht's Stadspark, housed in Building T, the barracks' former men's canteen.

Absolutely recommended

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a large afternoon party (around 200 guests) at Tapijn. The venue was reserved exclusively for our party. Given the beautiful weather, our guests were both inside and outside. A band outside on the terrace completed the party. In short, as far as we are concerned, Tapijn comes highly recommended for hosting such a large party.

Top Wedding

We held our wedding at the Tapijn and it was in 1 word great. Clear communication, flexible, knows very well what is needed to throw a good party. The thinking along and direct contact between our artists and de Tapijn about sound, lighting and other practical matters brought us a lot of confidence and relief, which is very nice at such a party.

5 stars for this top location!!! Owner thought perfectly with us to make our wedding the way we envisioned it. Catered to perfection, plenty of staff present. All of them professionals, there was no lack of anything. Delicious food! We wanted tapas for dinner, and the tapas on the table matched the tapas of Seville!
